The Park Street Community Project committee is excited to announce that they have finalized the plans for the green space on St. Paul's west facing lawn with Church Hill Landscapes. Church Hill has the project on the schedule for late summer/early fall 2023! The committee wishes to thank all of the community members and those from out of state who contributed to this project through the Better Places/Patronicity crowdfunding opportunity, which has helped to make this project possible. The design (pictured below) will create a space to sit and enjoy the city, and the Main Street side is meant to bring bursts of color through the season.
The Vergennes Partnership is serving as the fiscal agent. This project is an extension of upgrades in 2018 - the Park Street sidewalk refurbish and Panton stone retaining wall - made possible through the Downtown Transportation Fund grant program.
