St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Vergennes invites local artists to play in the church at lunch-time on weekdays. Starting in April, we're moving to the parish hall (across from the gazebo on the city green). This space has ramp accessibility, a kitchen for making coffee and tea, tables for eating lunch, a bathroom, and better acoustics.
Kathryn Blume will play on second Tuesdays. Kathryn is an award-winning solo performer, theater artist, and lifelong musician. She has studied songwriting with Myra Flynn and Dar Williams and is part of the duo Designated Sinners. She is currently putting together a music video for her song Red Tent Afternoon and is working on her first album, produced by Chad Hollister. During the day, she's a therapist at the Hinesburg Counseling Collaborative. Please feel free to sing along!
Sallie Mack and Rosi Gowdey will be playing on Wednesday, April 22nd, and then starting in May, on fourth Thursdays.

Background:
Our series started with a desire to give back to a community we love, to offer a little time and space for people to enjoy an hour of free live music during a busy weekday, in the heart of Vergennes. In 2025, our series also featured Celtic harp, organ music on Juneteenth, the Addison Quartet playing Dvořák and David Bowie. If you're a musician interested in reserving a lunch-time spot to play, let us know.
All are welcome!
