Sunday Children’s Activities

On Sundays at St. Paul’s, there are a variety of children’s activities:

  • Child care is available for the 10 AM service in the parish hall
  • There is also Sunday school during the first half of the 10 AM service, which involves story-telling, crafts, and (on the 2nd Sunday of the month) sometimes the baking bread for the Folk Mass.
  • The children join the congregation at the sharing of the peace, which is followed by the Children’s Sermon -- a short, fun, informal message (with question-and-answer time).

Youth Confirmations

May 2007

On Sunday May 19th Bishop Ely visited St. Paul’s and confirmed four youth members. This included Helen Cowan, Connor Merrill, Isabel Hamilton and Lily Hamilton.  A photograph of this event is shown below.

Note Connor holds the cross that Bishop Ely received while on a visit to Sudan.  This added special meaning to the Bishop’s sermon when he talked about the challenges being faced by the Sudan people.

Congratualtions to our newly confirmed members!
